June 20 AFM Friday - New Racer School
American Federation of Motorcyclists (AFM) and California Roadrace Association (CRA) New Racer School (NRS)
NRS is a course that certifies a rider’s readiness to participate in club racing within AFM and CRA allowing to apply for a competitive race license and register for racing events through examination of riding skill and comprehension of racing guidelines provided in classroom instruction. This product is not for inexperienced or first time track riders, or those seeking additional skill development through coaching or instruction.
**You do not need to purchase a regular track day on the same date as this NRS**
On-track riding until the completion of program will be within our Intermediate (B) Group where we expect you can comfortably keep pace and demonstrate diligent and safe passing. After riding evaluations, customers will be placed into Expert (A) Group if appropriate. Click here for rider group information.

7:30 - 8:00 AM Riders Meeting
* 8:00 - 9:00 AM NRS Class *
9:00 - 10:00 AM B / A / R : 20-min sessions x3
* 9:00 - 9:30 AM NRS Class / Written Exam
* 10:00 - 10:15 AM NRS Practice
*10:15 - 12:00 PM B / A / R 15-min sessions
* 11:00 - 11:15 AM NRS Rider Evaluation *
12:00 - 1:00 PM Lunch
* 1:00 - 1:15 PM NRS Race Start Practice *
1:15 - 2:00 PM B / A / R : 15-min sessions
* 2:00 - 2:15 PM NRS Mock Race (4 Laps) *
2:15 - 3:00 PM B / A / R : 15-min sessions
3:00 - 5:00 PM B / A / R : 20-min sessions x2
