    Checker: End of session

  • When entering the track going into turn one, always locate your blend(merge)line. Look over your shoulder and blend(merge)with extreme caution. More in depth explanation at the mandatory riders meeting.

At no time are participants to walk the track before or between sessions.

  • One of the most common Infractions we see during Track day events is the crossing of the ‘BLEND LINE’ when coming out of the Pits.

The Blend Line is a painted or imaginary line that keeps you on the outside of the track until it is safe to enter the track. Depending on the track the Blend Line could be turn one only, but also as late as turn 3 (WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca for example)

Crossing the Blend(merge)Line is a VERY dangerous affair. DO NOT CROSS THE BLEND LINE! The speed difference between a Rider entering the Track and traffic already on track could be upwards of 100 MPH!

We at Fun Track Dayz understand how exciting it can be getting on the track and that mistakes can happen. We want you to have a great day on the track and want you to do so safely.

I’ve crossed the ‘Blend Line’ what now?

All tracks enforce the Blend Line very heavily!!! You will be Black flagged and required to come to Grid to have a talk with the Track official/Grid Marshal. If you do get a Black Flag, you must complete your lap. Do not hide in the pits. Do see the Track official/Grid Marshal promptly.

It does not matter if you are the first person out. The blend line cannot be crossed under any circumstances when leaving the Pits.

More in depth explanation at the mandatory riders meeting.

  • Laguna Seca sound limits (105dB)

The Racetrack organizers at Laguna Seca enforce a very strict 105dB limits EVERY LAP OF EVERY SESSION at our events this year.

We at Fun Track Dayz realize that you can have MORE FUN riding your bike at Laguna Seca on 105dB days! That is why we offer them!

There are quiet exhaust baffles and modifications available to make even full racebikes comply within Laguna Seca’s guidelines. We recommend you research the best option for your motorcycle ahead of the Event date to maximize the FUN.

For further information Contact Jay Murray (831) 659-4729 jaymurray2@aol.com

What happens if I am above the decibel limit?

If you exceed the noise limit you will be shown the ‘meatball’ flag at Turn 8 (corkscrew) and/or at the Finish line and we will need you come to the grid to talk.

  • Onboard video cameras (ie. GoPro, Insta360) are allowed to be securely fixed onto motorcycle. However, for safety reasons, no extension poles/sticks are allowed.

Cameras mounted onto helmets are allowed but are discouraged and at your own risk.

One Piece or Zip Together Two Piece Leathers. You can wear a textile one piece or two piece suit that zips together with protective armor in the Novice group, but we highly recommend wearing leathers.

Our Instructors many of whom are American Federation of Motorcyclists (AFM) seasoned racers, all remember what it is like the first time they rolled their bikes onto a live race track. They will coach you in a controlled environment. In each Group you will learn at your own pace.

Fun Track Dayz is all about you, the riders, our customers. We help you every step of the way. We are here to help you all day.

Our first time track riders sign up for our Novice (C) Group, where you will ride at a moderate (speed) pace. Our Intermediate (B) Group riders, will have more experience from being on the track before and will ride at a higher pace. Our Expert (A) Group riders will have ridden several track days and feel comfortable with an even higher pace.

The skills you learn at Fun Track Dayz will make you more comfortable, confident, smoother, consistent, safer and predictable both on the track and when you ride on the street.

Remember to tell all your friends how much FUN it is to ride with Fun Track Dayz!
